Connecting Ethernet Cable To Ps4 And Laptop

Just moved into a new construction house where the builder didn't think to run ethernet to every room. He did, however, run coax. Although I have zero intention of getting cable tv, it looks as if these will run cable box/tv coax pass through. I just had fiber installed in the basement, and ran out from the fiber router via ethernet to one of these, then plugged that into the coax that runs to my living room. I put the other MoCA adapter in the living room, plugged it into a 5 port switch which is connected to my SmartTV and PS4. Within 15 mins, I'm streaming 4K on my new tv, while having a rock solid connection speed on my PS4, and not noticing any load impact on my wireless network. Works like a charm. If you unplug ethernet devices, you may want to power cycle the receiving unit, in order to get a fresh IP.

I am ordering a second cable of these. It works fine. I'm connecting a second monitor to my laptop.

Not much to say about an ethernet cable, except that it works.

I bought this primarily to improve my PS4’s online connection/stability (due to the lack of any Ethernet ports in my room) and it has exceeded every expectation in this regard. I really like this monitor. Not only is the video quality excellent, it works perfectly with my USB-C Microsoft Surface laptop. One USB-C cable, from the monitor to the laptop, gives me sound, video, Ethernet AND charging! Just plug the single USB-C cable into the laptop and you instantly have a desktop/monitor setup. I really like how the Ethernet cable plugs into the monitor and then allows your laptop to use wired Internet. For laptop users, this is definitely the way to go.

I needed to attach an Ethernet cable to a MacBook (of course no ports on the MacBook) so I got this with an adapter so I could use the cable and then the adapter with USB to plug into the laptop. Once the correct driver was installed for the MacBook / adapter all worked great. Instructions for all could be better. Thanks to B&H for super advice and support!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I can't believe how many things I have plugged in to it and then only one cable to my laptop. Ethernet, 4k 60Hz display, Logitech stream cam, and 100W PD all over one thunderbolt 4 cable. I have read that this gets really hot, but I think warm is a better description, and it depends on what you have plugged in I guess. It isn't small, but if you can tuck it away somewhere it won't be an eye-sore. The power brick is also quite big, but it's 135W so that's expected. The thunderbolt 4 cable it comes with feels high quality. No complaints so far, everything was plug and play on a laptop with a Tiger-Lake CPU.

This HDMI cable is used for connecting the laptop to the HD TV. It is 25 feet in length. Works great because it's all digital data. Auto connect works great- single screen or extended.

Works great connecting between my laptop and a xlr mic cable for video presentations on the road. Love the fact that I can pad levels with it.
