Connecting Laptop To Desktop Like Dual Screen

I use this at work to switch between my desktop and connecting my laptop. I love this item because everything you need is included - you don't have to buy any additional cables, or install any software, or anything. It takes seconds to set up, and worked for me like a charm - I can switch video, keyboard and mouse all with the press of the little button, and it's painfully easy to use. The only caveat to this is that there will be more wires to deal with on your desk, and you cant shove them all under because you have to be able to access the switch. I also wish there were some mounting system included so you could attach it under the desk or on top of the desk or something. But considering the cost and the ease of use, this is still a five-star product. Definitely recommend.

The cable seems to be high quality. We mostly use this cable for connecting a laptop to the big screen for movies etc., so do a lot of plugging and unplugging. One thing I noticed about this HDMI cable of over other cables we have had, is that the end plugs into the computer really smooth and easy, then stays attached securely. With other cables, we have had to fight to get the jack to line up so it would go in. I would buy again, and recommend to others.

So instead of fishing out more money on a big laptop I made the investment of using the usb type c to hdmi which Belkin more budget friendly to your pockets. Connecting the Belkin Type-C to HDMI is very simple and my laptop picked it right up away. Also had wireless keyboard and mouse which made it so much simpler especially working from home. Connecting the Belkin Type-C to HDMI to my television was definitely worth it. Definitely would recommend if you are looking to make your Apple laptop have a bigger screen view with the help of Belkin Type-C to HDMI.

Solved a problem I had with connecting antenna to a desktop scanner.

This laptop was purchased while on special- and the value still holds up at regular price. Example: compare the prior generation (11th gen) 11900K processor to this 12700H in various benchmark tests. The ratings seem to be accurate- this laptop is keeping up with the previous generation's top desktop chip. In real world use, this is also true. The laptop version of the 3060 performs nicely in this machine. It is lacking in RAM versus a true desktop card. The only negatives would be the fan noise when fully engaged and the on-paper lack of screen color gamut for sRGB and Adobe. I don't think it would be a good idea to attempt color correction with any hopes of precision on the laptop screen- though it does calibrate fine with the ColorMunki and i1 Display Pro Plus. It 'looks' fine for the most part.

This product works well on my desktop and with my notebook. Great for connecting projectors.
