I recently also bought a Samsung UHD monitor from B & H to use with my laptop, and though the monitor includes an HDMI cable, a friend recommended my buying the Mini DisplayPort Adapter Cable for even higher quality than the HDMI. Not only was it inexpensive, it definitely makes a worthwhile difference in sharper and richer picture quality, and would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to improve their monitor picture quality. 5 |

While Samsung makes a wonderful TV, the HDMI ports are poorly designed, located on the side of the unit. This causes strain on the cable terminals due to the weight of the cables. The Pearstone 90-degree adapter allows the cable to fit into the port vertically, removing the strain. Terminals fit snugly in the high quality adapters. 5 |

I have set up where I use 2 work supplied laptops, but also need a TV. The 3 inputs HDMI (cable), Display port (one laptop) and VGA (the other laptop) allowed this monitor to fit all of my needs! Plus the picture is outstanding (and as most reviews state, the built in speakers not so much) but a decent $15 external speaker worked wonders. 5 |
