Connecting Security Camera To Pre Existing Wired Home

Tied into existing pre wired home audio system. Was easy to set up. Sound quality is amazing. Ties into surround sound system. App functionality works well. Some improvements are recommended. Overall 5 Star for quality, value and performance. The packaging is well thought out. World Class Product. Definitely recommend for anyone even if you are not tech savvy.

This is the ideal length for connecting a wired lavalier microhpone to your camera for a basic one subject interview. Not too long or too short. The cable has a good thickness and finish, and coils nicely.

I keep this attached to the camera strap to use quickly instead of getting the wired remote out. Handy for pre-composed shots when looking thru the viewfinder isn't practical/possible.

Have had the door/window sensors with the Smart Camera with voice controls for a few weeks now and have been very surprised with the performance so far. We currently have a wired home security system we have been thinking of replacing, and think we will be going with the Ecobee Security. When one of the doors is opened the Ecobee sensors actually notify my phone a half second before the wired alert from our current system, very impressive. Also love these sensors have motion sensors built in, big plus and help. So far the only flaw we’ve seen is that the camera will go “offline” and cannot view live video, but it seems to still records when someone enters in front of the camera and the sensors performance has not been effected by this. Usually a quick unplug/restart of the camera fixes this, but would like to find out if this is a widespread issue or just my camera doing this. Overall very happy with these products and will be testing the security suite to see how well it performs, and also plan on upgrading our AC Thermostat with the Ecobee one as well.

The Lorex A14 IP Wired Dome Security Camera system works great. The pictures are clear and let you zoom in for a better view. This is the best camera system that I have had.

I now own 5 of these camera. I have had excellent satisfaction from all. I use them for wildlife viewing and home security.

Mount the sensors, open the ecobee app on your phone, step through adding the new device, and the security bundle was up and running in a couple of minutes. One of the things I like about ecobee products is they appeal to a wide range of Users. You can keep it very simple, or you can integrate their devices into a larger ecosystem for home automation. I also purchased the SmartCamera as part of the ecobee as part of the Home Security Bundle. And I already have an ecobee Smart Thermostat with Voice Control. These devices integrate through the ecobee App to create a very simple to use home security network for added peace of mind. And the Autopilot feature automatically takes care of turning on/off the security system and setting the thermostat to home/away as you come and go from your home. What a simple but effective design.

We are now going to buy the connect to add our speakers to our existing wired system in our house.

Added these to an existing wired configuration and they make the installation look neat and clean
