Worked great with my Windows 10 laptop. I did not need to use the Driver DVD. 5 |

This item couldn't be any better or easier to install. I have Windows 10 and all I had to do was plug it in and start connecting my Bluetooth accessories 5 |

This is plug-and-play: it worked right out of the box on my Mac, and also on a Windows-based laptop I use for another job, connecting to my Sony FX6. I had to figure out, through trial and error, that the frame rate I send out of the camera must be 29.97 in order for the computer to understand the signal. But once I had that sorted, I wound up with an image far superior to my webcam. 5 |

Works great connecting my TB2 Raid to my Windows Asus ProArt Studiobook Laptop. Allows me to get continued use of my expensive Raid 2 storage array well into the future maximizing return on my investment. Highly recommended !! 5 |

This is a reasonably priced web cam (with microphone). I plugged it in, Windows 10 promptly downloaded the driver and it worked immediately. It provides a good and clear picture. I have it clipped to the top of my monitor, which works well. The only shortcoming is that it has a fixed field of view (65 degrees), which is significantly wider than I would like - it captures too much of my home office. After reviewing the other available webcams, it appears that the only way to get a narrower field of view is to buy a webcam with a zoom, which I may do at some point. I have no complaints and would get one again. 5 |

Plug in and Windows 10 recognizes it immediately. Autofocus works well. Good field of view. Way better than the camera in my laptop. 5 |

I have several friends who have purchased this scope. Its weight and simplicity make it attractive. We are experiences astronomers with sophisticated telescopes. The Seestar is very light and transmits the images to a smart phone or smart pad. It doesn't support eyepieces. The field-of-view is wide it electronically. It can exhibit real-time images and also capture photos. For photos, there is a limitation to the length of time to about 10 seconds. The scope will track the object in the center of its view very well, but long exposures will generate photos with some distortion because, relative to the camera, and the Earth's rotation, objects will be elongated. The photo sensor in the Seestar is of fairly low resolution. If many 10 second photos are taken, and stacked, the result is a much better image. The makers or the Seestar, the ZWO Corp. usually upgrades products are a rapid pace. If they gave good sales of the Seestar S50, we can be sure that they will introduce a model that has a higher resolution sensor and built-in compensation for field rotation. The Seestar S50 is a game changer in astronomy because of its quality, simplicity, features and affordable price. I am anxious to see what the company, and its competitors introduce next. 5 |
