Connecting Wifi Cable Modem Without Ethernet Connection

We use these for our timeclocks that are not wifi but have an ethernet cable connection. Works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Connectivity is great! The 3.1 modem is on point with delivering over the 1000/35 I'm subscribed to when using an Ethernet cable every single time. Wifi is good too. The 2.4 signal covers my 1800 square foot home perfectly, even without the satellite. Adding the satellite, I can use my own wifi at my mother-in-law's house next door (believe it or not, I love her being my neighbor lol). The 5 signal doesn't reach quite as far, but it still covers the house well, and on it, I hit about 800/30 in almost all areas of my house including the back yard! Pro's that have specific VPN and/or other advanced needs, this combo will do most, but definitely do your research prior to purchase if you fall into this category! The Orbi App is SOLID. Again, nothing too advanced, but absolutely meets every expectation I'd have of any other brand's app and then some. I'd almost forgotten to mention setup; it's so easy. I connected the power and coaxial cable (not provided), connected via an Ethernet cable, Spectrum automatically detected the modem and asked me to sign into my online account (Spectrum's activation took about 10 minutes), scanned the QR code on the front of the modem using my phone's camera, setup a password, changed the wifi name and password to something I like, and that was that. It took a total of 13 minutes (including Spectrum's 10) to do it all start to finish. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and experience. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for fast, consistent, and easy internet and wifi!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Belkin product is useful for my laptop especially when I do not have wifi and I need an ethernet connection for the internet. It can charge my devices and give me interney access at the same time. It is a useful product for laptop users who need an ethernet connection.

I already have the HD and wanted wifi in another building that had an ethernet connection. Setup was explained simply for setting up the instant router with ethernet backhaul. Done and working as expected.

I have never had problems with my bluetooth, I got full blue tooth connection throughout my house even with my little Soundpeats q30 plus. This wifi adapter is faster than our ethernet, which makes 0 sense but even with a cat 5 cable, I get around 200mbps while I get around 130 with the ethernet. It really is hassle-less. So if you have a spare PCI-E slot, this is a really good budget wifi adapter. (Also you don't need an optical drive for the software disc, just go to the website on the disk or look up the software for the adapter and port it onto your pc with a USB. Though, my computer didn't even need the software)

Not many laptops come with an RJ45 Ethernet connection anymore. I don't know it's faster than wifi, but it's definitely not slower. Enabled me to use my CAT6a cable to go directly to my router. Just plugged it in my Windows 10 laptop, and it works great.

Upgraded older Surfboard modem which was having issues connecting to Xfinity network. I installed this modem and connection is excellent.

This is exactly what I was looking for, a 2-in-1 Wifi Cable Modem Router. It's very affordable and dependable. It's fantastic.
