Someone suggested that I use this to handle wired and wireless connections in my house, but it doesn't have the configuration capabilities I need for that. Running in AP mode, alongside an actual wired network, though, this gives me great WiFi coverage in my house. Definitely enjoy both the purchase and the price. I love the option of being able to add to the mesh network if needed, with next to no effort. 5 |

Synology makes setting up this mesh router fairly simple. Power it on next to your router, use the DS router app and you're up and running in about 15 minutes. I have four of them and they are all wired. So make sure you follow the instructions and connect it wirelessly to the router first, then take it where you want on the network and plug it in. The ability to add a dozen of the MR2200's to my router means that I can create a reliable and fast wireless network that rivals my wired network in terms of square footage and then go beyond the building. My wireless devices automatically drop and connect as I move around. I could not be happier with this device because it is reliable and the range meets all my needs. I have no complaints from my network users. 5 |
