Connecting Wireless Canon Printer Without Cd

The printer has been with us for about a month now and has worked as expected. The configuration for wireless for remote devices was easy. Connecting to my home network was also a snap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer was very easy to unpack and set up. Connecting for wireless printing was quick and simple. Print quality is crisp and clean. It’s also great that this printer can copy and scan too! Sleek and modern looking too.

I am extremely happy with this printer. It has great color and works reliably. If you have Windows 7 you must use the Add a Printer on the computer instead of the enclosed CD. I elected to make this printer wireless with the HP Jet Direct wireless option. Again the CD did not work and I had to call Tech Support to install it. However it works great, and also allows printing from the iPad and iPhone. I also got the extra 500 sheet tray and I recommend it if you wish to install a complete pack of paper at a time.

The MF273dw printer is very easy to set up on a wireless LAN and is very easy to use. The included CD provided all the drivers needed to print wirelessly from computer to printer. Also, AirPrint from tablet to this printer worked great. This printer is loaded with features for home or office use. I give it an A+. Using it for connecting a Canon video camera to a wireless video transmitter. Works perfectly. I have a similar one for a gimbal that also works great.

Impressed and satisfied with the quality of this printer and prints. Certainly, a bargain at the price point. Coming from owning a Canon Wide Format 24" printer for over a decade it does more than an adequate job. It does not have all the bells and whistles but delivers high quality prints. The versatility / controls for this printer depends on the software program from which you print. Important Note: The printer is shipped with a CD / DVD with installation software etc. whose version is 2013. My Win 10 desk computer does not have a CD / DVD reader. I am not a computer savvy guy so I struggled trying to download the latest software drivers etc. from Canon's web site and installing them, without success. Eventually I decided to see if the computer recognized the printer via the USB connection. Control Panel Hardware & Sound View Devices & Printers. Double clicking on the iP8720 icon immediately went to the internet and brought up the latest software and allowed l me to make the installation, fantastic. Really appreciate B&H's fast delivery!!

Great product for connecting my printer to computer.

So far so good. I try using my old software Cubase SX and it synchronizes perfectly. I was able to try it with a microphone and connecting my old CD/Cassette player and works fantastic. I definitely recommend it.
