This is for wireless connecting to a pro sony camcorder... if you have the UWP-D2 and a Sony PXW-Z280 you can say goodbye to XLR cables connections and you will save time on setting the UWP-D2.

I have a MacBook Pro 16 (M1 Max) and connecting the Cal Digit TS4 docking station takes it to another level. Fantastic bandwidth speed, all the ports connect and works well with the laptop. Must have to truly enabling top tier performance. You will not be disappointed!

This cable works well when connecting a monitor to your new USB-C MacBook Pro. The cable eliminates the need for an adapter and reduces the handshake between the MBP and the monitor.

This is the exact unit we needed. We had a MacBook pro connecting to an inexpensive 4x2 matrix. One output to a Samsung TV. One output to a BenQ projector. It would not give us a clear signal at the projector, if it gave us a signal at all. With this unit, we were able to fake the laptop into believing it was only connected to the BenQ projector. Problem solved! Worked like a charm. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my macbook pro, since it only has USB-C ports, and this is exactly what I needed for all by USB drives and accessories. Plus connecting my android to the mac. I love it.

Not by any means my first SuperDrive but my first external unit. Runs quiet, connecting cable is long enough and accepts and ejects discs with authority. Judging by my personal experience with SuperDrives they run near flawlessly even with heavy use. My first one in a Mac G4 Tower (Quicksilver) still works as does the one in my 2006 17" MacBook Pro Those two are semi retired but I have one in my 2012 15" MacBook Pro which has burned hundreds of discs reliably. The new one is for my 2015 27" iMac. If you need to have an optical drive and don't need to read or write Blue Ray, this is your best choice. There are less expensive ones out there and I've tried a few and they wear out quickly and are finicky about which brand of blanks you feed it and sometimes even reject a factory replicated disc.

I use the TS4 to connect my MacBook Pro M1 Max 64 GB RAM and 4TB storage to my desktop. This is not a technical performance review; this is how I use the TS4 for my specific applications and workflow. I need to transfer large files and use high-demand memory applications. I need this for video and photo editing and probably have products that many others would connect. I do not want to spend time connecting all my accesories when transitioning from desktop to road warrior. The CalDiigit TS4 lets me do it all plug and play. You are spending more on this unit but getting what you pay for. I continue to carry a mobile docking station for connecting accessories when on the road. Still, the only difference between using my MacBook Pro as a desktop or mobile is the ability to use all my accessories, and the CalDigit TS4 is the ticket. When returning to my desktop, I connect my computer to one Thunderbolt cord on the TS4 to get everything quickly connected, including; powering and charging my Mac (I keep the Mac power cord in my bag for traveling), 4K monitor, RODE podcaster, Black Magic video mixer, 2 X SSD Firewire Hard Drives, Bose USB powered speakers, HP large format printer connected by USB print cable, LAN connection for best network speeds vs. WiFi, Elgato Stream Deck XL, Ipad, and iPhone docking stations. I had no trouble connecting all of my devices with nothing weird going on. Everything worked, if not better, than if I directly plugged into my Macbook Pro. The TS4 is like an air traffic control tower for all my computer accessories. I should also note that the speeds of my SSD hard drives did not slow down when connecting through the TS4. I get great transfer rates and could not be more pleased with my purchase.
