Console My Arcade Retro Machine
Matthew | 2024-06-15 09:54:12 |
I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

Bought this to play retro game consoles on a 4k TV. And it does an amazing job. I use svideo from the console into the kanex and output 720p over HDMI. This from my experience looks the best. My games look much better than just running through composite into the TV and there is no lag. From what I can tell anyway. Much better than the cheap converters on Amazon 5 |

This has been great for printing decals for our arcade machines. 5 |

I needed a 16 terabytes drive for a retro gaming machine. When reading the reviews, some people mentioned that this was noisy drive but after installing 2 of them in my machine, I barely hear them. The drives are fast and so far have had no issues. 5 |

While this device is a bit more underpowered than say a full custom build, it does the job or replacing a gaming console with better capabilities, as well as allows me to work from a small, stat competent machine as well. More powerful than my standard business laptop, more outputs than my standard desktop, and more than enough USB and thunderbolt ports to expand capabilities in the future. I highly recommend if you want something to replace a Sony or Microsoft console with a small, reasonably priced and capable Steam machine, or if you need a work device that has all the ports your laptop doesn't, while consuming less power than a full-on desktop. Note - the power brick is about half the size of this computer - it's big. 5 |

I originally bought this bag because I wanted to carry my Nikon D7500 and mounted Sigma 100-400 lens in a vertical, lens-down position. That combo is 10 inches, and this was the only bag that seemed high enough. My camera fit with a couple of inches to spare, but this bag just seemed HUGE. I decided to exchange it for the Retro 10, which listed an interior height of 9.5 inches, not quite enough for my camera combo. Wrong! The Retro 10 fit the camera just fine. It came to the top of the bag, but you can still zip up the top flap if desired. Other than a shorter height, the Retro 10 and 20 are exactly the same size. Some people want a larger bag, and if so, this one is wonderful and can really hold a lot of equipment. These Think Tank bags are fabulous, comfortable to carry around, and the one feature I wasnt sure I would like is now my favorite feature of all--the velcro closed flap. It is completely secure, the opening noise doesnt bother me at all and it can be fixed if you dont like not, and its just so easy to get into this bag to grab your camera when walking around. My guess is that fewer people will want this largest (in height) bag, so there are other choices in this line. I love the 10, and then I also got the 5 for my smaller camera equipment. 5 |

A nice looking , almost Retro Look. The Brown Leather looks classy on My Nikon Z6. Easy to attach and feels good to carry the Camera. Very well made , (real leather). I attached it to the Camera lug rings. It does look good on the Z6. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome Camera Strap. 5 |
