Construction Paper Cat Face

And let's face it, living in Southern California, I'm outside ALL THE TIME. The dead cat works perfectly in windy conditions, and handles the ocean breeze well when we're out at the beach. Totally worth the purchase and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs it.

For me the construction and durability of a piece of gear is the most important and this bag has it all. It even can stand up to my cat who likes to claw and scratch every new piece of fabric that comes into my studio. Holds my AC160 perfectly with room for all the important accessories and then some. Highly recommended.

It's the cat's meow.

Very comfortable and unlike the paper glasses they stay on your face,no hands. The optical quality is no better than the paper ones however.

Good quality. Will be used in animal shelter studio for cat photography. Better than paper when using with animals.

Got the paper to make copies of pictures I had taken of family. They loved them as well as a neighbor lady whose cat i had taken pictures of.

Paper is fine for construction drawings, easy to load and use.

I absolutely love Epson's Velvet Fine Art Paper for the work I do. Because the paper absorbs ink, images made on Velvet have a perceptible depth to them, much like my platinum prints from film. Also, this paper yields beautiful, velvety (appropriately enough) blacks and vivid colors. I use it for landscape photography, as well as portraiture and still lifes, and it makes a beautiful base for black and white prints, giving them a completely different feel from those make on glossy paper. The paper has a subtle texture that's not at all obtrusive and actually accentuates most prints. The only downside to this paper is that there's not an obvious face or back side, but it must be printed on the face side. I keep track by only removing one sheet at a time from the inner package and keeping it with the seal side up, which means the face side is always up, too.

I really enjoy using this paper. I did a test strip and noticed that it was very forgiving in terms of what was acceptable and in range for a good print. It is a little soft, maybe not as punchy as the Ilford alternative, but I also didn't use any filters. Its a glossy finish but not overkill. Prints curled a bit when dried face up and less when dried face down. I really like the results I got from this paper and happily rate it 5/5. I have posted some example prints.. photos taken using a sp500 and Takumar 55 f2, prints made using a Rodagon 80mm enlarging lens and intrepid enlarging kit.

I print digital negatives with curves developed for this paper in a printing frame under the enlarger. You must run this paper through the processes one sheet at a time. I start in the developer face down and then turn over to make sure the face is equally wet. Continue agitating the tray for the development time. Move to stop bath face down. Put into fixer face down and agitate for one full minute. Move to a quick water bath, then into a hypo clearing agent for 4 minutes. Then another quick wash and into the print washer for 30 minutes. If you try to do too much at once or don't keep this paper face down you may get brown spots. If you follow these instructions you won't. Doing multiple prints to save time can make a real mess! Final results are beautiful.
