Construction Paper Chains

I set this up on a wall in my house. Paper rolls up and down well. I would suggest two or three different color chains just to make it easier.

The metal chains are worth the money, no doubt! I use the ones with the metal chains for the vinyl and the plastic chains with paper. I wish these were less expensive, it seems like the price that Manfrotto is charging for the difference in chains is gouging.

I'm currently using three of these impact varidrive chains for cored paper measuring around 20 feet long (9' wide). The rolls aren't heavy and these are providing excellent results so far. These are made well and I don't foresee these breaking any time soon. I do plan on adding a vinyl backdrop down the road at which point I'll be wise to invest in a metal chain instead. I've also attached a 20 foot long muslin (9' wide) to a core and rolled it up no problem with these plastic chains. If a chain happens to break I have PLENTY of extra chain length to replace it with as I'm using less than half of it in a room with 8' foot ceilings. I would buy these again at this great price!

I've needed to do more work using bg paper recently where I have to swap colors quickly. Three of these in one of the triple hook brackets permanently mounted to a studio wall is much more efficient than dealing with a pole based bg stand. I've used versions with plastic chains in other studios. The metal chains on these are much more reliable long term. Worth the extra expense if you use them a lot

Paper rolls work as claimed, creating a clean background for video work. Chains are a bit heavy but sturdy. Might consider upgrading...

Easy to use and setup Helps in keeping your background paper wrinkle free I did not use the vinyl/plastic chains that come with it, I purchased the metal chains to ensure I had the Best of the Best

The metal chains work so much better than the plastic ones especially on 12ft wide rolls of paper with the added weight.

Useful when rigging overhead. This plus 2x4s and safety chains; what more do you need?

Strong and at a reasonable price. Metal chains are great.

Paper is fine for construction drawings, easy to load and use.
