Construction Paper Colored Pencils

I purchased both the 10mm and 11mm Artisans and found the 11mm definitely sharper when comparing lettering at 400% on a calendar in a room shot, however at 4 inches the 10mm was amazing. Purely by accident while shooting tests with the 10mm with the Lumix S1r I focused the camera on a pad of paper I had written notes on in pencil. Along side of the pad were 8 or so new Dixon pencils with gold stamped lettering all sitting on a dining room table cluttered with computers etc. At f8 with the lens so close the background dropped beautifully, but what astounded me was the detail of the lead pencil writing on the paper the the gold leaf stamping on the pencils. Photo had Color, contrast and even a bit of micro detail in the paper texture and writing. Based on this and other tests, this is a great lens for very closeup experimental work. Colors are accurate and vibrant. Lens is seemingly well corrected for this type of work with Capture one correcting purple fringes. For room shots and sharpness stick with 11mm unless you need the extra angle.

I have just begun to use this paper and it seems to be of good quality. I am using it for black and white prints and have begun to color in it with marshall color pencils. It seems t hold the color in well although it does not get the same quality that agfa papers that I used for enlarging in the darkroom did. Still, a good quality paper and the colors look good on them.

Is very smooth and the pencils glides very quickly.

Semi-glossy colored paper is recommended. Delivered perfectly without any damage.

This is a very standard background roll of colored paper. In this case, I bought a grey hoping it would be neutral gray. It is, however, a little on the blue side, but will be usable for my purposes I think. I have used several different colors including black and white over the years, and the quality is consistently good for what it is.

I use this product to print samples of water colored renderings, event invitations, etc. for my clients at our design firm. The quality and texture gives our prints a professional and hand painted look. The paper is also very compatable with our inkjet printer. My only complaint about the paper is it's high cost!

I use the paper to update my portfolio, It is inexpensive and a great paper for both black&white prints and colored prints. The paper has a nice weight to it. Giving you the sense that you are really picking up a nice piece of artwork.

I have been using this paper to print all of our cards, folded in half for 5x7 prints. We use colored envelopes that make a nice presentation.

I was looking for a paper with an even more earthy feel, Bamboo is a heavy paper, beautifully colored with a fair amount of texture. Simply lovely! It’s a must have for your projects.
