This is a fun lens to play with. You can move the focal point around and be as creative and artistic as you want. It's a great creative lens.

I mostly shoot landscape photography and bought this lens to be used with my new Canon 5D since the Canon 10-22mm was useless in this camera. Excellent lens that exceeds all my expectations and fun to use it too. Amazing colors and sharpness. For creative landscape photography all you have to do is play with the horizon line to avoid distortion so you can take real wide angle pictures without going totally fisheye, unless you really want to go totally creative and play with the fisheye at 8mm. Which is amazing too!!! When shooting close to subjects, careful with your feet or they will show in the picture.

Bought to play with and open up some new creative possibilities. I haven't had time to do too much with them but the build quality is very nice, especially considering the affordable cost.

This lens is extremely sharp and opens a whole new world of creative use. It's a lot of fun to play around with. There is some minimal CA under extreme contrast, but it can be minimized in PS.
