Bought this case for our Nikon Vibration Reduction spotting scope, window mount, and eyepiece. It is a little bulky, but provides excellent protection. The pick and pluck foam makes it easy to fit all of the equipment. Great padding and protection. 5 |

No, it does not completely seal up the camera like some other (more expensive) options, but as a rain cover it works great. Best features are that it is very easy to put on and stays on very securely, folds up very compactly into the included pouch, and protects the full camera and lens when horizontal. On a 400 f/2.8 it's just about the perfect size. Not too big, but loose enough to easily get hands in for lens switches and manual focus. It's also loose enough to allow rotating lens to portrait even with monopod sidemounted on a Wimberley monogimbal. So why was I looking for the 4.5 rating? Two things would make it perfect: 1) a slip on cover at the objective end to provide more protection when the lens is idle (the more expensive TT option has this), and 2) some kind of bridge or tenting approach (better than rolling it up) to keep the rear of the camera covered without pulling the plastic window down over it. Yeah, viewing through the plastic window does work and provides the best protection from falling rain, but I'd like less obstructed access. 5 |

Provides protection for window coatings and door paint. Plan to play resulting video on large screen TV with miniatures in the foreground to provide movement. Nature is your movie set. Since motorcycles don't have windows switch your camera to auto mode while using this device. Over tightening with supplied hex wrench made the Oben BD-02 Mini Ball Head fail to lock so just back off a bit. In the USA miniatures will travel right to left unless you drive in reverse for a few miles. May reduce your odometer reading too?!? Use a quiet fan to make miniatures look like they are in the wind and add digital audio sound to represent truck, jet, motorcycle, etc. sound to the rerecording. 5 |
