I kind of like how the frame is made of fiberglass or something...Metal can dent and bend then it's toast! construction is good and worth the money. I will be buying more. 5 |

This stand is really helpful at raising the mic really high enough to be out of the frame. The construction of this stand is very strong and sturdy. I just didn't like the horizontal pipe because it WASN'T TELESCOPIC; it is simply an extension arm that screws to the non-removable short arm. It seems to be made to be stationary all the time, for it is bulky to move here and there more often. The base legs cover very large area in my studio I'm sure if you have the space you will be happy with the wide base legs. 5 |

I'm pleased with the unit. The construction is solid and it holds more than anticipated. I have two full-frame Dslr's in it (one sporting a 24-70mm zoom), a mirrorless compact, an APS-C camera and lens, light meter and batteries. It's maintained the 50% humidity I've selected. This has been compared to the readings of both a humidity meter in the room and that of a dehumidifier. I'm in the Pacific Northwest, so it's more than a convenience. Wish I had had one in Arizona, where it would have helped with dust headaches. 5 |

I wouldn't use it for a full-frame DSLR, necessarily, but solid construction for an iPhone. Packs down well. Rugged without being bulky. 5 |

This is a great boom mount, it is silent when moving, with solid construction. I have mounted the SM2B Heil shock mount and Electrovoice RE-20 on it for podcasting, and I am very happy with it. It clamps well to the desk, and works great. The XLR cable runs through the frame which is nice, the only drawback would be the plastic pieces holding the cable into the frame, which are a bit flimsy and I needed to tape them on to stay in place. Overall very happy with it. 5 |
