I have been buying camera and tripod accessories from RRS through B&H for years. Their camera plates fit perfectly and are probably bulletproof. They're not inexpensive but are worth it. You've paid a lot for your cameras and lenses. Don't skimp on tripod connection.

The size is what the consumer wants

I really enjoy taking pictures on vacation. When we do car trips, I usually take my SLR with an assortment of lenses and accessories. For flights, I don't want to bring a lot of heavy gear and find this ZS100 to be a great alternative. The pictures are nearly of SLR quality and it has the flexibility to cover almost every shooting situation. All this in a really compact form factor. If you are willing to go a little bigger, then a Sony RX10 III or IV would be my next choice, but I wasn't willing to give up the small size and weight of this Panasonic.

i'm still outfitting it with accessories, but i've really been loving it so far. super easy to balance and use. using it with a jib, using it with magnetic car mounts, using it freestyle. considering a steadicam style vest for it. it's amazing what is achievable at these price points. and the free app can operate it as a motion-controlled remote, as well as updating firmware, calibrating motors, etc. high payload. really happy with what we're getting with this on our team.

I had my first Porta Brace back in 2003. I have rated it 5-stars in the past. I can't help but praise only the durability and versatile use of their bags and cases.
