At $230, I do not know how much more one gets for phones that cost 2 and 3 times as much. I did see it on consumer Cellular for $ 150

This is a commercial sound bar, not a consumer product. It is built to provide superior sound quality to the ultra thin TVs that are becoming so ubiquitous. It's intended to be easy to use, easy to clean and provided long term maintenance free operation. The sound quality is very good. The build quality is good. The installer features are appropriately minimal. It's not overloaded with unnecessary features like bluetooth, wifi, etc. It's EXACTY what I hoped it would be. Highly recommended!

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.
