Consumer Cellular Phone Not Working After Recharge

At $230, I do not know how much more one gets for phones that cost 2 and 3 times as much. I did see it on consumer Cellular for $ 150

I had some serious issues getting this working and turns out it’s best if you turn off your cellular service on your phone while doing the setup. Worked like a charm for me on multiple devices. A new update also improved integration with Apple HomeKit. Very happy with it now.

I use it to recharge my cell phone from my a plug-in charger.

I got this today and it works great with my cell phone, it even came with a 3.5mm to 3.5 mm cable for cellular use...I was surprised..also do yourself a favor..install the gain jumpers as stated in the directions..it will give you more audio on a noisy day. HTH

I bought one of these a couple years ago as my first cellular camera, I am pretty happy with how it is working out so far. It is a little hard for me to rate the cellular though because we have so little signal by us that it is sometimes unreliable, but I can't blame the camera for that. Great pictures, and is really nice not to have to go into the woods every week to grab an SD card. If you are wanting to buy a cellular camera to try them, I recommend buying this first for the price.

I have a cellular phone based app that I use for my intercom. So I use these so my camera ops in the field can clamp them to the camera tripods and put the phone right in front of them. They work awesome. Highly recommend and will be buying more.

This microphone has great audio as long as the phone is in airplane mode. If it is not, any communication over the cellular antennas causes the ticking and distortion other reviewers have mentioned. When in airplane mode though, the audio is clean. I prefer to shoot video in airplane mode anyway so my recordings are not bothered by text messages or phone calls. So, this is no big deal for me. I love the mic and the build quality.
