Provides a much better wireless net than 'consumer' wireless routers. I've been very impressed with making the switch and the strong signals throughout my house. My Chromecasts haven't had any buffering issues since. 5 |

We bought this device on the strength of the Consumer Reports review, along with numerous others that consistently ranked this router very highly. It has been running for a couple of weeks now without any issues and have definitely noticed improved range and speed on the wireless signal as compared to our previous router (in some cases we are seeing equivalency in wireless speed with wired devices). In addition, the SRM management system and accompanying app are first class and allow you to easily see what is going on with your network. Finally, the SmartConnect functionality that steers the devices to 2.4 or 5GHz networks has made for a much simpler setup by only requiring a single SSID and allowing the router to do the work of deciding which band is best.
