I bought this to try out after seeing the disheartening reviews for the Dymo 500 series printers. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of loading the paper and computer installation. The printer comes with a sample roll of 2.4 continuous label stock. I initially planned to purchase die-cut labels, but I found that the flexibility of the continuous stock allowed me to change the size as needed. Keep in mind the size options for 2.4 labels are very limited. The cutter works great too. How long they last remains to be seen. Of course, having labels cut after print does not give you rounded corners like die-cut labels, but if you don't mind that then you should be good. Prints come out crisp and quite clean too. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brother QL-820NWBC Ultra is a great little printer. The most important feature to me was the ethernet port. The printer can be used through WIFI but not many manufacturers make a printer that can be wired. The printer was easy to configure on the network. The printer offers quick printing and boy does it print clearly! The printer will only use label stock made by Brother. However, there is continuous roll stock available. Again, hard to find continuous roll stock for these types of printers. The printer also offers 2 color printer, red and black. That is pretty sweet! The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix. 5 |
