Contra Bass Sax

I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation. 5 |

I've worked with many saxophone players and I played woodwind instruments. Not saying that I am an expert but I do have some experience with wind instruments. I am keyboardists with years of working with sampled saxophones. The samples have become better over the years but SWAM physical modeling is superior for duplicating the nuances and articulations of a real sax player. The only weak link is me. I need to think sax and not keyboardist when I use the SWAM plugin. My wife is a musician and when I would try to emulate a sax she would say 'that doesn't sound real'. Then I let her listen to a song with the SWAM Sax she said 'WOW, that's not you you're trying to fool me'. You won't be sorry with the SWAM Sax Virtual Instrument. 5 |

Great cleat perfect. I wish they had one for my Sax. 5 |

As advertised, this bag comfortably fits my two contra 1000w studio bulbs, plus their cables and beauty dishes. A significant improvement over the American Eagle bags I had them in before ; ) Zippers don't seem as sturdy as the LightWare versions (which could probably withstand a zipped up cougar) but time will tell. Happy so far 5 |

We use these stands for a contra dance venue. The speakers are at a sufficient height to keep the caller's microphone from feeding back, and the bases are wide enough to keep the speakers secure and stable. The stands are easy to use, as well. We love them. 5 |

Beautiful build and handling, slightly sharper than it's Canon's contra-part , pleasing bokeh and amazing color saturation. The only drawback for me is lack of auto-focus as I shoot lot of video with my 5D and 7d so I find myself using Canon lens way often. However, whenever I have some time for myself, this is the only lens I carry with me. We got something special going on here and this is just a first one I got from B&H. 5 |

If you have read the specs you already know that this case is heavy and very large. This may make it unwieldy for some people to handle, even when empty, but once it is on the wheels it is easy to move about. The large interior size makes this case very versatile. Large items such as long benchrest rifles with expensive optics, surveying instruments and bulky camera equipment, as well as musical instruments, can be safely transported. I can fit an alto sax, a tenor sax, a laptop, some electrical equipment, and some literature in my case with ease. The saxes ride in their own cases within the 1770. The foam can be configured to hold a large number of smaller items such as cameras, iPads etc. It is easier to keep track of one large case at the airport than it is to do so for multiple dedicated cases. The latches are very sturdy, and the provision for locks seems to be robust. It would be nice if the case had a side handle, for that would make it easier to one person to carry the case over rough ground where the wheels would not function well or could be damaged. I am very pleased with my 1770. 5 |

Securely holds my soprano sax and attaches/detaches quickly and easily to my Hercules alto/tenor stand. I like that it's adjustable up/down and won't damage my horn's finish. This should be obvious, but I'll mention that this peg will work only for a straight soprano sax. 5 |

I play tenor sax and wished I saw a review like this. The harmony portion is based on singer and key of c instruments. Just add two flats to music for Bb instruments in my case and diel in new key for all harmony presets including harmony pedal and it will be spot on. People love the effects it produces. I still have to do my part. 5 |
