Control Game 505

I wanted to put an RC 505 looper up in front of my keyboard. This turned out to be the right tool for the job. The supports were a bit too wide for the looper, but a few scraps of wood from the garage later, I built a shelf to lay across this second tier and came up with a great setup. I got the looper and studio monitor stands from BH too. Love their selection, price and fast shipping.

I upgraded from the SE 505 which had a stripped cord. The sound is great as expected - highs and lows. Bass guitar comes though very nicely. Medium earpiece worked for me but all others included. I like the new cord arrangement where you can replace it if necessary. Got the iPhone cord with the unit and it works well - with a skip, pause and volume controls - very handy. Excellent if you like listening to high quality music.

We have Marshall 505 cameras all over our orchestra and the varifocal lens has changed our production. Easy to change out and easy to use.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. The installation is very easy to do, the navigation with the remote control is great. Game stream is working like a dream, and Netflix is also working great. I really love this device.

Under $1000CAD to get into the motion control game. Not too shabby. Easy to use. Build feels pretty decent. Battery is okay and you can power with external banks. Set up is easy. Definitely a good addition to any smaller freelance kit.
