If you are replacing your camera plate captive screw use the 3/8" length and not this 1/2" length. � This is an excellent replacement for Lens Plates. �I trust Kirk and find their quality excellent and more reasonably priced than RRS, both have served me well over many years without a single failure. �I am leary of using cheaply made screws on expensive equipment, so if using an inexpensive or no name brand plate replace the screw with these, it's very inexpensive insurance.

Very smooth and steady. I looks at a lot of ball heads before I bought this. All the knobs are captive and will not fall off no matter how loose. The friction control is easy to set up and the pan is very smooth.

I have several of these, they're well made and perform as expected. It would be good if the lock nut for attaching the clamp to stands was captive though. Loosen it too far and it will spring free, potentially becoming lost. The NIkon SB-700 comfortably fits the shoe.

An excellent pair of binoculars with great optics. Compact and easy to handle. The captive lens covers are an additional thoughtful touch.

I have had them for a couple weeks and really like them. Complaints: 1. The eye covers should be one piece instead of 2 and they should be captive. 2. The image stabilization push button should be push and hold for stabilization until it is released AND 2 quick pushes to turn them on for a couple minutes then turn off automatically. This is a very easy software modification.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

I recently bought one of these to bring my work to the next level and I'm quite impressed. Having full control of my audio is a game changer. The mics pick up range is really impressive compared to the VideoPro mic I have been using. Highly recommend this addition to your tool belt.
