Manually putting together a soft box is always at least a bit of a challenge. Aputure makes that easy because this one requires no assembling! It's already assembled and you just have to press it down to hook it in the position to use it. It's well constructed and the light looks good. As with most reviews, I've only had this for a short while so durability is always a question, but this seems like it will last. Great value.

Great way to control and focus light in soft box

Really great add on to my soft box to help control the light.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

I recently bought one of these to bring my work to the next level and I'm quite impressed. Having full control of my audio is a game changer. The mics pick up range is really impressive compared to the VideoPro mic I have been using. Highly recommend this addition to your tool belt.

The installation is very easy to do, the navigation with the remote control is great. Game stream is working like a dream, and Netflix is also working great. I really love this device.
