If this is your first manual lens, it will take a bit of getting used to - but once you do, it starts to change the way you look at things. The control you have & character you get out of this lens is more than just fun - it's like whole new activity you've embarked on & changes your camera. You can sweep through the focal range in one motion if you hold it right, which is very nice for video - you can get that smooth adjustment without having to take your hand off. It definitely benefits from having a set of filters to help open the aperture when outside in the sunlight. Without a filter, it improves your low-light abilities. Also: the size is satisfying & build quality is sturdy. 5 |

Adapter works great, love the customization of the control ring. I don't notice any connectivity issues at all when using it so far. Definitely helpful as I have not transitioned my EF lenses over to RF yet due to the costs. Works great and lets me keep my perfectly useable EF lenses! 5 |
