Protects well without optical penalty

The graphics card looks and plays amazingly, and the free game Death Stranding is so interesting so far! Great deal at the price I got it! Shipped pretty fast even after I back ordered!

Feels like it's about the same size and weight of the 24-70 f/4, but gives you that all-in-one range without much of a penalty in aperture and nothing that I can see in terms of sharpness. Ordering was an exercise in patience, though: took nearly 6 months to arrive from the date of the order, presumably due to COVID.

Although center columns are usually best avoided, sometimes you just need one. This one is very solid. There's no play to it at all, the only penalty is that it changes the base-to-height ratio of the tripod, of course. Also prevents getting down to near ground level (but there's also a short column available that can be swapped out with no tools). Good solid column if you need it.

Everything about this lens is premium quality and the only penalty to be paid is the weight. It gives excellent reliable results at a perhaps the best all-around prime focal length.

The only penalty I've found when using the Z mount 1.4x TC is the 1 stop aperture loss. Would buy again without hesitation.

Used with a 50mm 1.8 lens on a T2i with next to no penalty in weight or AF speed and accuracy. Near macro capability with the combo so I am happy.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.
