Control Game Talk To The Plants

Using as a control room talk back mic in a recording studio.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a gamer, but I do love a good headphone. What I love about these headphones is 1) The inside of the ear cups are marked (L)eft and (R)ight, so no confusion. 2) Large padded ear cups means no listening fatigue. 3) Being able to adjust how you want to listen. Meaning, more game and less talk or more talk and less game. But once you add the dongle, the listening experience explodes. You like more bass, you got it. You like it to sound flat, you got it. All done by making adjustments in the Quantum Engine. And to top it off once I got it dialed in the way I like, the sound made it seem like a live experience.

I got this mic to use for podcasting and upping my WFH meeting game. Everyone who has to hear me talk is very impressed with the improvement in my audio quality. I have no use for the XLR cable, but it's really nice that it comes with it. And while I have an armature that I mounted the mic onto, the little tripod will come in handy if I ever need to take my setup mobile. I highly recommend this Samson kit!

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

I recently bought one of these to bring my work to the next level and I'm quite impressed. Having full control of my audio is a game changer. The mics pick up range is really impressive compared to the VideoPro mic I have been using. Highly recommend this addition to your tool belt.

The installation is very easy to do, the navigation with the remote control is great. Game stream is working like a dream, and Netflix is also working great. I really love this device.
