I'm a voice over actor and the mic gives a smooth sound.

As a professional voice actor for the better part of 20 years... I've long noticed when my other professional peers favor certain equipment in the studos.. when I recently acquired a new Sennheiser 416 mic, I decided to equip it with a Hook Studios Octo-842S Front-Address Pop Filter right from the get go.. I've noticed a noticeable reduction in any plosives and extraneous sounds that previously had to contend with in post editing,.... and the micro-screens seem to be very transparent.. no coloring or alteration of my natural tonality. Works for me!

I am a voice actor and I like my booth uncluttered and open since there is not much room in there. The tray is just perfect to hold my Cloud Lifter external pre and my Focus Rite Scarlet Solo digital interface. With holders for my iPad (script display) and iPhone (recording device), everything is mounted to a single mic stand. The only other things that are ground supported are me and my stool. The shelf is really well made and can be mounted on either the lower tube or upper tube of the mic stand. The friction mount point has enough surface area to allow a very firm grip without damaging the tube.

I'm a voice over actor and was previously using a usb condenser microphone for at home recording. I don't have the best sound proofing so decided to pick up a Dynamic mic and the Shure SM7B was the most recommended. It's been great as I don't have to fix as much in post with room tone and sounds coming from other rooms

I've been a VO actor for 6 years and knew I was in need of a new microphone. I work as a voice actor and found an immediate difference when I set up my studio with the bass traps. I was recommended to get these before investing in other sound absorption foam and with these alone it made a noticeable difference. They are QUITE large and really worth the price!

This is my first ever USB condenser mic, and I feel that I've made a great first choice! I'm an aspiring voice actor, and I love practicing with this mic with headphones on. I'm still learning how to use it, but I'm having a blast! My only complaint is that one of the knobs on the side became a little loose, and the mic sometimes falls/swings downbut I'm sure it's my fault somehow. Such a quality product!

I'm a voice actor and utilize both a VO sound booth and a separate engineering station outside the booth. I wanted a compact volume control for my headphone inside the booth because my audio interface is located in the engineering station, not inside the booth. This device is perfect! I attached it to a small table and can ride it like a fader if need be for live, directed sessions with other studios, as well as coaches. Great build quality and lossless audio. Very happy!
