Control Switch Boxes

It fits, it works, and I might need another one. I really like the Westcott Switch soft boxes. If I need another, it’ll come from B&H.

I like that it includes a volume control, a power switch and audio control.

Have only had it for a few days, but I love the power switch and volume control on the remote.

Totally love this boxes. Multiple keyboards and a monitor feed all with volume control... Ya can't go wrong.

I use this switch for my entertainment center. With everything being connected now from TV, to streaming boxes, to gaming consoles, I needed a lot more ethernet than planned. Luckily this switch is powered easily through my basement PoE switch, and works fantastic to keep the wires to a minimum. Joined my ubiquiti environment no issues, and has been working flawlessly since. For the price this can't be beat.

Having used lots of cables/switch-boxes, this product is very well designed. It's very user-friendly, almost don't need to read the manual. And works just like a pro needs -- simple, effective feedback from LEDs and excellent focus-before-release behaviour. Installs in 60 seconds if you take your time. Love the fact there's no chance of vibration due to a wiggling cable-attachment -- and no cable to mess with (and somewhat delicate cable-connectors -- which I've broken before).

Needed a USG and you can't get them right now, so I bought this. Very happy with it. About the same price as a USG, Cloud Key and switch purchased separately. Don't need the security aspect right now, so I put off buying a hard drive. Would be nice if the switch was powered, but otherwise great. Replaced 3 smaller boxes with 1 large box. Cleaner appearance. Hopefully it will last for years like the individual boxes tend to.

I wall mounted this internet switch which replaced three various smaller capacity switch boxes that were daisy chained together. Plug it in and let it rip. Nothing else to do but watch the blinking lights. Very sturdy well built unit.

The Rapid Box Switch system is great for portability and ease of use. I have two different types of light mounts and the the quick mount inserts make it so that I do not have to have separate sets of soft boxes for the different mounts. The umbrella type assembly for set up and take down are so much faster and easier than the systems with speed rings and rods that have to be assembled and disassembled each time make this Rapid Box Switch my only choice for soft boxes from now on. And the build quality is excellent.

Of all the matte boxes I've owned, this is by far my favorite. I don't use them for filtration as much as for light control and lens protection. This fits my ZCam + DZO Pictor setup extremely well. The only knock I can find on it is that unless you're using lens support or a locking style mount/adapter, wind causes it to vibrate a fair bit.
