I am very happy to control the light output on these from my godox remote. I purchased two of these units because I have an upcoming corporate shoot in Maine. I am really happy with this unit so far.

I performed a video time lapse at 1080p at 60fps and received a well balanced exposure between sky and ground images. I have yet to test the 720p at 120fps, but once I do I will update the review. This is my first camcorder and purchased this for an upcoming trip to Europe. I haven't used the camcorder much since I received it, and all is good so far. One item worth mentioning, I uploaded a video to YouTube directly from the Sony software program CD supplied with the product, and was dissapointed with the quality of the video in 360p, and no HD setting available. After some Google research, I uploaded the same video directly from YouTube and HD options appeared, 480p, 720p and 1080p. ::Whew::!! This changed my entire perspective about the product.

I have an upcoming project that I wanted to have smooth video for so I went down to B&H to get more information on Steadycam/Glidecam. After talking with the gentleman there I ended up purchasing this. His last words to me were good video takes practice and don't get frustrated -- Boy was he right. I keep getting better but I still require more practice/strength/endurance. The build quality is great and I do not see any cons to this product. It works as stated and does so very well. I use my Nikon D600 with Sigma 1.4 50mm lens which is a great combination.

I have been using Elgato products since the Game Capture HD with a 2009 iMac. I used to light up my elgato green screen with a cheap USB powered LED work light set on the floor. It managed for the most part, but far from an ideal solution. The jump to the Key Light was like night and day, literally. Having full control over colour temperature and brightness made my lighting look instantly professional. Being able to control every option via the iOS app over WiFi meant the Key Light became the main source of lighting in my tiny apartment, and still is.

I recently bought one of these to bring my work to the next level and I'm quite impressed. Having full control of my audio is a game changer. The mics pick up range is really impressive compared to the VideoPro mic I have been using. Highly recommend this addition to your tool belt.

The installation is very easy to do, the navigation with the remote control is great. Game stream is working like a dream, and Netflix is also working great. I really love this device.
