It’s decent… especially when playing video games!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our whole family is overly impressed with our new Samsung 98” Class DU9000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV. My husband and I loved that the setup was super quick and easy. We can't get over how great the picture quality. It's crisp and you literally feel like you're apart of what's on the screen. It's great for watching TV and playing video games... My son loves playing video games on the PlayStation and it's so much more realistic than previous TV's. Also, the built-in sound system is incredibly good! You get the sound effects of a movie theatre from the comfort of your own home. We can't wait to watch the Super Bowl on it. One thing that really surprisesld us was for the size of the TV it wasn't very heavy.

I have had the base module about a month along with the soundbar. It so far has performed great with rock music, classical, movies, and with video games. It pairs easily with the soundbar to work as a seamless system once the soundbar finished updating. The part that I personally enjoyed the most about the base module is when playing modern piano music I can really feel the vibrations that made it seem like I was sitting near someone playing a real piano. The vibrations when the foot pedal was used in the song reverberated through the floor as I would have expected from a live performance. It also adds an excellent immersive feel while playing video games by adding a necessary thump in the right parts to make the audio intensity match the visual intensity. The only thing lacking about the base module is the power when playing hip hop or rap style music which is something my brother pointed out to when he came over to see the system. I am not a rap music person but that is an important detail for those who like that type of music. Overall a great addition to my system, I am extremely pleased.

I have been very impressed with the color and clarity it produces for each of these tasks. The detail you get when playing the video games on ultra settings is amazing. When editing the photos I am able to clearly see the details that I need to edit and with the color accuracy I'm able to ensure that I have my white balance set correctly. I only wish I had come across this monitor sooner. The packaging: The monitor was packaged in a way that was easy to open and pull the monitor out of. Setup: The stand for the monitor was easy to assemble and even provided a channel for the cables to run through so that you can keep your desk clean. Use: Using this monitor for photo and video editing is solid. For its price point you can't beat the size, color, and clarity. If your in the market for a monitor that you can use to edit photos, videos, and you like to play video games, this one won't disappoint.
