Controlling Octatrack Midi

I am using this interface primarily to record 2 stereo pairs from my Elektron Octatrack and multitracking with Ableton Live and Adobe Audition. I'm monitoring on JBL LSR205s & KRK KNS8400s. The build quality of the interface is very nice and the knobs feel durable with no wobble and a good amount of rotation pressure that feels precise and smooth. I have am experiencing very low latency on OSX El Capitan and successfully multitracked into my iPad using Beatmaker. The compressors sounds nice, especially for the price range. I find them to be perfectly subtle; there to enhance your audio recording rather than act as an effect. I think that's a smart decision for an onboard compressor since you could get more dramatic, pumping, compression in your DAW if that's what you're going for. Overall I'm really happy with this interface. I could hardly find reviews of this line so hopefully this is helpful for anyone else looking at these.

easy to use and works flawless. Can also work with only one MIDI connection (midi out).

If you are serious about controlling your lighting, this is a must have in your arsenal.

This little Midi Box is a welcome addition to my Midi Configuration Studio needs. At first I was reluctant to purchase it because I felt it was a bit expensive for a Midi Interface... but it is worth it. This is a deceptive little synth, it is not a toy and can be used in a Musicians rig, but it's main short coming is the touch keyboard, so if you got a Midi keyboard, use it (Note: you will need a Type A 1/8 Midi adapter cable to utilize the midi capability) the Korg software is pretty good to access the deeper functions, but the sound is the big deal here, it sounds beefy & the built in effects are top notch, and with full midi support you will be using this with your DAW, drum machines etc. it is fun and easy to put together, really worth the price.

Nice fabric and is very useful for controlling and blocking light.

I liked the feature of controlling the unit from my phone... whether at home or away from home.
