Controls On Soul Searching Game

After a lot of soul searching I bought the 300mm prime to support my amateur surf photography habit. It's a beauty but will take time and practice to master - I'm so used to the 40-150 pro zoom (+ MC adapters) that a fixed 300 is a very different experience. I've been using focus tracking on my EM1m2, which can wander a bit (apparently the new OM-1 has improved performance?) but when I occasionally lock on target at the right time I really like the results. Note to OM systems - it's great that you're got bird photographers and other sports covered, but it would be a big help for us West Coast dwellers if you could point the AI developers at the beach for a few weeks when the surf is up :-)

I love the70s soul/funk vibe of this expansion. it's taking my production game to a new level.

We switched over to this Manfrotto LANC remote for filming hunts and it is an absolute game changer! All the controls are right at your thumb allowing you to engage the camera in any way you like while keeping your movement to a minimum. If you are filming hunts or filming wildlife, this thing is a necessity.

I reviewed several controllers for the game; looking for ease of use and assigning buttons to flight controls. In addition, I didn't want to break the bank. What a surprise! Hotas 4 was automatically accepted by the Sim with almost all buttons assigned, ready to fly! With a tweak after visiting the Thrustmaster site for updates, I was up flying in a few minutes.

It just doesn't get any easier than this! Leveled up my audio game! Great clean audio, with controls right for my camera. Completely took the guesswork out of if I'm getting my audio on file with my video. Best feature, transmitters record right on the unit as a back up! Safety!

It hasn't bursted into flames or sucked the soul from my dog, so works as advertised.

This lens has soul. Nailing focus can be more time consuming than f1.4 or f2, but honestly, soon as you take the shot, youll understand why the lens is a beast. For us fuji people, it really does feel like youre shooting film, but in luxury & w/out film stock...which for some of us, were too busy for. Only issue is the aperture wheel being in front...its really annoying & my copy moves butter smooth w/almost perfect friction, but even brushing against it you might move 1/3 stop w/out knowing & forget you even brushed it while in the moment. Im assuming it had to be that way...? but its constantly something I hate. My only gripe isnt really with the lens, but customs/conversion rates. I ended up paying frickin $847 for this lens to goto canada....thats insane. INSANE. if id have known fees & all that stupid stuff was in the way i wouldnt have bought this thing. ok maybe close to $700...fine i get it. BUT COME ONNNNNNN!!!! Canadians always get the short end w/technology...so frustrating.  Id upload photos but apparently even the jpgs are too large. If its an issue of quality, dont worry about it. Even wide open this things TACK sharp (assuming you can nail focus in the first place). Just make sure youre cool paying for it.
