Convert Computer Monitor To Smart Tv

I bought it cuz i need to convert LED monitor onto old vintage computer to avoid purchasing old monitor for it since I'm on budget ... it does what it suppose to do base upon monitor you have ... it work great!!!

I had it plugged into my computer and then used a gigaware adapter to convert from Mini DisplayPort into DisplayPort (which is what my monitor had available). This adapter worked fine from my usb-c enabled iMac and MacBook too, into an older 24 inch Samsung monitor at monitor's resolution (2560x1440).

I have had this Smart Monitor for about a week now. I have to say is HOLY COW. This TV quality is very nice. I recommend choosing your own picture mode ASAP to your needs when you first get this TV. The WebOS has a little learning curve but its really not bad. It took me about 15-20 minutes to learn. The speakers are muffled sounding, so they're just OK to me. I recommend pairing a bluetooth speaker so that the sound quality is better. Overall, this is one CRISP smart monitor. I was skeptical of the DCI-P3 (95%) but dang was I wrong. I love this monitor base style, its very study compared to the tri-pods on most monitors in the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really excellent smaller Samsung TV, and can be used both as a regular TV or a computer monitor. The unboxing and set up took less than 5 minutes from beginning to end. I plugged it in, connected it to WiFi, downloaded a software update, and downloaded all my streaming apps like Netflix and HBO Max. The Samsung TV has a very high quality picture and sound at 4K, plus for pictures, videos, movies, or tv shows that are not originally at 4K the TV automatically converts the picture quality up to 4K, which is awesome ! No issues at all so far with either sound or video, everything works really really well and it's very high quality for a smaller tv. I would recommend this 100% to anyone who doesn't really need a huge living room tv, or for anyone who needs a better computer monitor. 100% excellence from Samsung !

I bought my television in 2017 so I think it is a smart tv but I couldn't get HBO Max on it even though I could get it on my computer. Then I ordered BRIT Box and couldn't get that either. NOW I have Roku and I can get everything - Love it!

I needed extra ports beyond my 5 port modem and purchased this switch. It does exactly what I needed it for; to access the internet on another computer and a smart TV. I plugged in an Ethernet cable from the modem to the switch, plugged in Ethernet cables from the switch to the computer and smart TV, plugged in the power cord from the switch to an electrical outlet, turned them all on and voila! Plug and Play internet access. No configuration needed, just plug in and go! I highly recommend this product!!!

I have used Benq monitors for years. It is not a smart TV, so no extra complicated connectivity or constant updates. It works as reliably as an old analogue monitor, just plug it in and you have a reliable picture. Colors are accurate straight out of the box, no glare. Replaced my Pro Display XDR with this panel, and the biggest difference is the blacks aren't as deep. But other than that, this panel is a lovely IPS monitor with reliable 4k resolution for detailed editing. I cannot recommend this panel enough.

This smart monitor is work monitor during day and becomes TV during off hours. Display is great and doesn't drain eyes after working for 8-10 hours. Sound is really good. I would suggest anybody who is looking for monitor plus TV.
