Convert Usb Printer To Wireless Mac

My husbands HP wireless printer kept refusing to recognize my Mac. Getting the two to talk to each other was exceedingly difficult, and HP was no help at all. I gave up and bought an Epson. I've had other Epson products that I really like. Epson's products actually talk to my Mac.

I have Male to Male USB Cables, this allows me to convert them into Extension Cables when needed!

I've been able to connect four Windows PCs (XP, 7, 8.1, 10) to an Epson all-in-one printer. Although my printer is wireless capable, I find USB connectivity more reliable and less frustrating. The packaged software (CD), as well as the included Installation Guide, are antiquated (Windows XP/Vista; Mac OS X) but were still useful for one of my connected PCs. Accessing the product manufacturer's website is required to obtain an up-to-date User Manual and to install applicable drivers for PCs with newer operating systems. This applies to Windows (7, 8.1, 10) and Mac (10.6 and above) with an available USB Type-A port. One 6-foot USB A-B cable is also included. Each of my PCs printed successfully to the one printer as intended.

A bit difficult to find the Mac driver online--it is compatible!--and strange that it doesn't come with a USB/USB-A cord. That aside, this is a bargain of a printer. Easy setup, economical with ink (which is included!), quiet, fairly swift, compact, and Canon quality printing. The pandemic has made it difficult to get to the library or office store, so being able to do my own paperwork and essays at home (and being the friend with a printer) was priority without a hulking multifunction device taking up space. I am so happy with this device.

I'm using this to convert HDMI output from a Mac Mini to SDI in order to feed a building cable system. Box is metal -- well built and durable (reminds me of older Netgear equipment). And it has DIP switches -- who does't like DIP switches? The management software is a bit wonky and not terribly useful with our setup (I suppose it's more applicable if you're not using HDMI for the audio). But, otherwise, it just worked out-of-the-box. Gets a little warm to the touch, but nothing alarming.

I bought this product to convert old camcorder vhs format tapes to digital using a Mac o/s, the proccess was easy, not alot of bells and whistles to this product, it does what it says it does and does it well!

The printer is doing everything we wanted it to. The wireless is great.
