Convert Video Camera To Digital

I needed a simple solution to convert family videos on miniDV tapes to a digital format. This solution worked well. The software is simplistic, but it gets the job done. Once converted to digital, you can edit the files in any video app. I was lucky that the camcorder still worked. I did have to buy an S-video cable and a Mini AV (Camcorder) to 3 RCA Composite Cable. I was able to convert 15 hours of tape.

I convert customers analog video & audio tapes to digital files using PowerDirector. 100's of satisfied customers. Now expanding so, will order more of the device. A separate computer & capture software is needed for multiple conversions at the same time. Device is very stable, converted tapes of 4+ hrs. without a hitch & has Video Proc Amp settings, not on the fly, I just use sharpening at 88. I have purchased 4 versions of PD all see the device. I used to shoot IR film years ago and loved it. I have wanted to convert a digital camera to IR but haven't been able to just yet.. This filter works well on my Sony A7Rii for now at a much more economical price. It doesn't replace an IR conversion, but it goes a long way.

Works great to convert a video bowl to a still camera, easy to install. To use as video tripod, just remove the handle. Good 'handle' to carry tripod. Nice to slightly loosen for leveling without adjusting legs. May pick up a 2nd 520BALL to mount a ball head - for fast switch.
