Converting To Stand Up Desk

Up front, I've only been using this a few weeks. I cannot speak to longevity - and by the time I could, something new would be out. Storing TB's of photos, I've used several different drives. The Oyden is by far the fastest at transfer I've used. It's also exceptionally quite. It does get a bit warm, but nothing near hot. Again, much cooler than any past drive. I use it on-desk and don't carry it around, and backup by doing a full file-copy. (I want better access and portability than a true backup will give me.) The rubber frame around the drive will handle any minor vibration I have, as well as moving it from desk to storage. Overall, a really nice unit.

Great for converting light stand or tripod to a microphone stand. Other possibilities as well. Secure and strong brass machining. Essential stuff for the photo or sound technician.
