Cool Cam Underwater Camera Instructions

Great underwater settings built right into camera..had to unlock them but the instructions that came with the housing explained it all.

I purchased this video specifically because Canon makes a compact underwater housing for it. The housing instructions tell you how to set the camera for underwater, and although the instructions were a bit vague, and Canon support was not helpful, it is a one time adjustment. I just got back from first dive trip with it and the underwater colors were about as natural as watching Planet Earth. It did well on large animals, like dolphins, and equally well on all but the tiny macro stuff. The bright screen setting enabled me to see the LCD panel easily underwater. I used the camera with a Lite Cannon 100 underwater light and a diffuser for overhangs and darker days. Overall, I have never been this happy with an underwater camera.

Cam was very easy to set up. Instructions were clear. Camera works great as does my 2 mp bullet cam. This one is 4 mp so picture is better. App is very easy to use and pictures have very little delay. Very satisfied with purchase.

It's rubber, it's simple, it makes the cam look cool. I think it will protect excess light from the sides entering the lens, as well as bumping into something, kind of like an orange construction cone. It won't stop it but it warns before you go any further and hit the actual camera. It also folds in so it makes the camera compact again. It won't work in camera mode as it disables the flash when screwed on, but I don't really use the camera function all that much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly a great camera to post up outside. I actually like it because it's not wireless and I don't have to charge it all the time. It is a wired camera and I have an outlet on my porch so it worked out perfect. The camera was very easy to install after you download the app and connect the cam on your app. The actual view in the cam is epic I can see so clear on it and zoom in and out while watching live. The cam is small and connects to the holder via magnet. Very cool little cam indeed. The cam is made nicely and very sturdy. Small but amazing view. I like the little bubble that pops up on the bottom when a person is detected. It takes a snap shot of people walking by which is cool also. Very unique and cool camera. I would definitely recommend this little cool cam.

I took shots at dark. The camera saw what I could not. It is going to be quite useful in my underwater adventures.

It's always cool to configure the foam inside the case with the shape of your product. I used it for my Z Cam and it fits perfectly.

The product is wonderful! No instructions but none are needed. Just plug it in and your succeeding from the start. The computer sees my Cerevo Livewedge as a web cam and it works for Google + or anything that is needed. Any camera can now be ween as a web cam.
