Purchased this filter to photograph the Eclipse, it worked out great. For never photographing an eclipse or the sun the filter worked as exactly described. And the photos turned out great.

This was my first experience photographing an eclipse. We only had 65% coverage, but it was still very cool. I used this lens on a Sony RX10 Mark IV mounted on a tripod, lens fully extended to 600 mm, and using a remote shutter control. The settings I preferred were ISO 80, Aperture f8 (sometimes higher), and shutter speed 1/320. I could clearly see multiple sun spots and was very pleased with the overall results. Looking forward to using it again in April 2024 when I will be in the path of totality.

I bought this with the upcoming eclipse in mind. Of course I haven't been able to use it for that yet, but I have used it to look at the Sun and it has a pleasing cool green color filter that allowed a nice view of Sunspots. Overall very pleased.

These were perfect for safely viewing the solar eclipse. It was such a cool experience and I was thankful for these glasses.
