The UPS functions flawlessly, just like all other APC UPS's that I have bought. It does look different from the picture however. The one in the picture has a front cover. The one I got did not. Mine looks much more industrial. 5 |

One doesn't know how many electrical surges such a device actually intercepts, but I'm still using an APC Back-UPS LS 500 on my computer that was purchased ten years ago, and have had no problems. The P8VT3 offers connectivity for coaxial cable, which is desirable for me. I have two of these in use: one for a TV, soundbar and audio equipment, and the other for a TV and soundbar. It's cheap insurance against costly damage due to an electrical surge. 5 |

I love this product. When you have most of your electrical devices connected through a UPS there is no need to worry about damages caused by electrical power surges or sudden loss of power for any reason. I would caution you to do your homework, however, and select a UPS that is capable of handling the devices you intend on powering though it. This particular model has a load capacity or 1500 VA or 865 Watts. There are models that can handle more. So look at your devices that you intend on plugging into it and make sure that whichever model you buy, it will handle the juice. If you overload it, it's purpose becomes moot. 5 |

Plastic housing, and very simple, but do you need a small strobe for close ups, music videos, etc. Buy this and keep it in a catch-all, and have it ready if ever needed. 5 |
