Here in the NW part of the US the winter air is very dry and static electricity is a problem. This wrist strap worked great. Felt comfortable installing added ram memory without problems.

These don't scratch negatives. For my location the plastic sleeves would get static electricity and attract dust. Every time I took out a neg it would scratch, even if the dust wasn't visible. As a computer forensics agent, static electricity is my enemy. I purchased 3 of these for each of my forensic computers.
