Cooling Fans For Exterior Electrical Enclosures

This case is amazing for the price! 2 rgb fans (which are 160mm and great for cooling) plus an exterior (non rgb) fan. The case has a RGB/Fan hub which is awesome if your mobo doesn't have enough headers. It was a lot bigger than I had thought, but it works perfect and looks amazing with my all white build.

I run a couple of NAS enclosures and put these underneath to give a little extra cooling. I won't be 100% certain until summertime but my M2s and regular spinning HDDs have been running nice and cool over the past few months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my ThinkPad Ultra Docking Station (type 40AJ). My laptop would periodically overheat while using it, even with a cooling pad with fans. The profile of the docking station prevented the fans from cooling the laptop body. This new dock works great. The laptop has not overheated at all with the new dock. This Hybrid USB-C has plenty of slots for my needs (USB, HDMI, speakers). It has a nice, small footprint as well. I recommend it!

The product has worked well so far. The only thing that Netgear can do to make this product better is by adding internal cooling fans. The modem tends to stay really hot which will burn out the modem before its time.

This is a piece of beauty with fantastic engineering for robust cooling features. Three fans built-in and a lot of mesh to properly provide air to the system makes is one of the best cases for overclocking enthusiasts. It is indeed heavy, probably the metal used in it is quite good quality. it helps to manage cables very good and hides them behind the plates so your computer looks elegant and clean from both sides. Highly recommended.

I have the plastic system as well and I can't tell you how much better this system is. I still use the plastic one as a secondary or backup. But I'd always rather use these. Note that these can't be used with the D1 series though because there are no fans for cooling.

The Thermaltake Massive 14 Laptop Cooling Pad with Dual LED Fans is absolutely amazing. I literally leave product on 24/7 with my HP Elitebook Pro. This product is silent, does the job extremely effectively and is shockingly affordable. Best purchase of this year!

Ever since top vents started coming into vogue, I've longed for a case like this to make an appearance, and it's everything I wanted. The key differentiator of this case compared to most other, modern cases is that it has no vents on the top. For air cooling, this is ideal because you want air to go through the CPU cooler and out the back, not go out the top and skip the cooler entirely or come in from the top and screw up the flow direction. There is a slope in front of the top-mounted PSU that forces the incoming air from the empty space at the top of the front fans down into the CPU cooler. Then the GPU area is fed by additional fans on the bottom to ensure there's plenty of fresh air. This amount of airflow allows you to run the fans at pretty low speeds, being almost silent at 60% in the front and 40% on the bottom, while not significantly reducing the cooling potential. There are mesh filters in front of both sets of fans, keeping the interior a lot cleaner than it would be without them. The panels pop off nicely with some sort of magnetic or tension mounting. Overall, the design of the toolless access and working inside this case feels like an improvement over the Meshify C case I had before. Of course, there is one compromise. If you want non-nvme drives, it only has room for a couple on the rear of the motherboard panel, and there's not much airflow in that area, so I'd hesitate to use a spinning platter hard drive. At this point, I only use nvme drives and a separate NAS for storing media, so that's no problem for me.

This case makes cooling a simple task with the three fans up front and many different options to add more. Fits my motherboard(ATX) and all components easily and has many options for cable management. Saw great reviews from Gamer's Nexus on Youtube and totally think this is worth the money. =)

For such a reasonable price these fans look amazing and connect to onboard RGB control. Cooling works great and as expected with low noise.
