You're looking for a cable? Well, let me tell you, this one is certainly a cable. It's got a cord, connectors, the whole deal. In all seriousness, though, this works perfectly with the C300 MK III to give you an extension to the grip. For me, it's too long, because I really only need a few inches on my cable for cable relief when I have the grip mounted to the Bright Tangerine Cage and the Kondor Blue quick release rosette mount. I can swing my handle freely, but with the stock cable it was putting strain on the handle. At least this way, there's no way I can strain my cable. I would love to see a shorter 4 or 6 inch version, but reviews are not meant to be about what the product isn't - it's about if it does what it says it does on the tin. And this does the job it's meant to do beautifully. Maybe I'll mount my grip in weird new places just because I can. 5 |
