Cordless Work Vacuum Ace Hardware

Ace Hardware sells an on/off toggle switch you can use with this. Plugs right into your monster circuit breaker ;-). I could have wired an in line on off switch but for that price, I'll have another beer, lol. As for the rest this item, can't really be beat for the price anywhere. Unless you start spending over 1k this is the ticket.

They are great batteries and work flawlessly as replacement for cordless’s phone.

These were bought to replace depleted batteries in a cordless phone handset, and they work! I have been choosing Eneloop AA and AAA batteries (formerly marketed as Sanyo products, now as Panasonic) for several years now - for digital cameras, portable audio recorders, flashlights, etc. I have only good things to say about them.

These batteries are replacements for current cordless phone batteries. Delivered promptly. Work well. Better price than paid over three years ago for half as many batteries at a local bricks-and-mortar store. Good job!

My camera is only about 6 pounds (DVX200) so I am not pushing the capability of this head in terms of claimed weight handling. That said, it has very smooth pan and tilt. I shoot mostly stage work from the back of an auditorium so I am moderately zoomed in and need to make a lot of following motion shots. Anyone who shoots professional dance knows how critical smooth pan and tilt shots are, esp when executing both and often requiring zoom outs. Sloppy or jerky moves are a killer. For me, while there are much more expensive heads, this one does the job for my size camera. Having the ability to have the pan arm on either side is a plus for me. My Ace does not have that ability and the fine adjustments I can dial in on the N8 are also more versatile than the presets on the Ace. I cannot comment on how this head would work with larger cameras, but for me this head is impressive.

you might think going up to ACE or Home Depot and grabbing some clamp lights will be just as good, but they won't. these reflectors look professional and work better. great for studio work and outdoor work as well. very durable.
