I picked this up for my remote workstation, now that coronavirus has me working permanently from home. Working with a headset all day quickly became annoying. This shotgun mounted over my monitor picks up my conversation very well. I'm using a pair of Audioengine2 desktop speaker/monitors with it with no echo to my videoconference team. It will hotshoe to my camera if we're ever allowed outside again, so it'll have a great dual use. Pick up a gopro sticky mount and you can just mount it right onto the top back of your monitor so that you don't need a boom arm or tripod,. Keep it up off your desk and out of the way. 5 |
