This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase. 5 |

Now that I have gotten used to this keyboard after years of using an old Kensington USB keyboard, I really love the Magic Keyboard. Connects immediately to my Mac Mini and the battery seems to hold a charge for a long time. Perfect size for a small desk. Like all Apple products, a little pricey but worth it. 5 |

I purchased my iPad Air with the Apple Magic Keyboard. That keyboard is great for stationary use of the iPad (for sheer typing, it is better than the ZAGG and comes with a trackpad. However, I did not feel at all comfortable placing the iPad in a backpack with the Magic Keyboard; it did not protect the sides and the Apple Pencil was only secured by the charging magnet (it always came off during transport). With the ZAGG, the iPad is much more protected, and it secures the pencil to the case while also charging. The iPad can remain in the case, while either removed from the keyboard or reversed for use as a tablet. The Keyboard has a USB-C charging port, so an additional cord is not necessary (if only Apple would upgrade the iPhone to an USB-C…). It also holds a very long charge. If you travel a lot or frequently move your iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard. 5 |

The Das Keyboard Prime 13 Backlit Mechanical Keyboard was just the keyboard that I needed for my work-from-home office. It has the full keyboard layout that makes switching between typing words and numbers easy. The layout puts all the keys in an easy position to find without having to look. It has the touch bumps on the F and J and the 5 on the number pad, which I strongly desired. The back lit keys makes a huge difference for typing in dim lighting. The lights stay illuminated plenty long (maybe 10 minutes after disuse), compared to my laptop keys which dim after about a 10 seconds. Others have colors and waves of colors, but really the backlit white was just what I wanted for functionality, and it has a nice appearance. Plus for my work computer, I was happy to not have to set up any type of software for the keyboard lights to work the way I wanted. I got the cherry mx brown keys, which are really nice. They make a little sound when the key bottoms out, but not as loud and clicky as the blues with which I am also familiar. It is supposed to have tactile feedback, and I like the way they feel; although I haven't tried linear switches, I really believe I needed the feel of tactile switches to improve. And I notice that I am typing a lot faster with this keyboard. I didn't know how much my old keyboard was holding me back. It has a solid heavy base, which makes it feel like you are getting something for the money. The one minor detractor is that the USB cord is thicker than I was expecting. This keyboard has one USB port that passes through (perfect for recharging my mouse). But the single USB cord that exits the keyboard is thick like two USB cords inside one braided cord. It's a nice and thick, a little bit stiff, round cord with a braided jacket. And then it splits into two USB plugs to be connected to the computer or docking hub. Overall, I really like the look and feel, and sound of this keyboard, and fully expect it to be an asset for many years. 5 |

I was excited for this audio interface to come out because of the two headphone outputs for monitoring, multiple output port options on the back, in-built additional USB-A ports, and that it operates by USB-C. Also I heard great reviews online. The in-built usb ports are great, so that I don't have to have as many adapters from USB C to USB A for my laptop with other devices. I first heard of Arturia when I was in the market for a midi keyboard, and so far, they do not disappoint. A massive bonus for me is how this interface is much smaller than I expected, which is amazing. Plus, it comes with power plugs for different countries. It doesn't HAVE to be plugged in to power (unless you want to use the interface's additional in-built usb ports for something like a midi keyboard), so that is nice, but also good to have the ability for extra usb ports. It would be even better if it didn't have the need to be plugged in to get power to the usb ports to power my midi keyboard, but I can live with that compromise because I think that's just literally a physical necessity (I don't think there's anything out there at the time of writing that could do that without a power supply). The small form factor is great for me since I travel a lot, and I don't expect to need to replace this interface for a long time since it's perfect for my needs. 5 |
