Plug them in and they work. You do not have to worry about the printer not recognizing them.

This light stand is pretty hefty but works great for very large softboxes, etc. A great deal of utility for not much money.

I'm a long fan of Manfrotto products. This stand has all the toughness and utility of previous 12' stands, and the fold-flat feature is a huge improvement when packing a bunch of them. Seems every bit as stable as the older designs.

I bought this stand as a utility stand for lights or occasionally for a boom mic. I was impressed by the way the legs fold and can be used flat on the ground, as I am always nervous about microphones getting knocked over. This feels very sturdy and well made. Note that it's about 6' with the legs flat on the ground, the 7' figure requires them to be used normally. I expect to get another one of these soon and use them as my daily light stands.

Hang it anywhere, and for additional utility, wrap it around just about any stand, tripod, boom or photo-thingy you're using. This weight is sleek, phenomenally well-constructed, and just plain super handy on location or in my studio. I genreally hate sand bags, hate lugging them, hate storing them, you get the picture. This weight bag is a joy to use.

I am loving this utility tray. It is very versatile, and I see myself using it for a variety of things. Right now, I'm using it to hold a woofer speaker behind my CPU monitor on my editing desk. I attached it to my OBEN ADS-1514 table mic stand by using an adapter from 5/8th to 1/4 inch, and it is working flawlessly. The tray is rated to handle up to 15lbs, which is fantastic. I have no doubt it can hold this weight because this tray is well made, all metal and strong. I also connected it to a standard mic stand and can see myself using this set-up for a variety of things. Maybe for a small monitor, or just a stand to hold things out of the shot, like a laptop, audio mixer, place to put a drink for the talent, make-up, whatever. Again, this tray is very versatile. It comes with thick foam pads so whatever you place on the tray does not slip. These work very well. And the 9x9 surface is a good amount of space. Again, this is a great little utility tray that is well-made. I see myself using it a lot and for a variety of applications. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]
