This board is killer. I prefer it to the Z790 , a virtually identical board to the 690 but with a more IO options. Paired with the components listed below, I can do anything from Video editing to gaming , streaming and IT Administration. I have heard that Asus can be difficult when it comes to RMA and that they are working on improving thier work flows in that area and well, I have not had to test the validity of those claims since I have never had an Asus product fail on me in more than a 2 decades of Asus being my products of choice. Use for pro software applications.

I installed a pair of Corsair MP600 Pro LPX 4TB M.2 drives in this unit and have them in a RAID 0 configuration. I'm running an old Intel Mac Mini, so speeds are not optimal, but the external drive is faster than Apple's internal SSD that came installed in the laptop. I have to put my ear right next to the dock in order to confirm the fan is running, so noise certainly isn't an issue.

I had both the Open Swim and the Open Run Pro and now I only need one headset as this one does it all. THANK YOU!

Bought this headset to replace a Turtle beach elite atlas aero and am very pleased with it. Comfortable for long gaming sessions, has a removable mic and battery life is fantastic. Super easy to set up with no proprietary drivers or software required to use it. I would however suggest installing the NGENUITY software to at least update the firmware.

I love the headset. It is very clear and responsive, plus the controllers work really well. The software is still kind of limited and I lost my games from my old Oculus account. I like that it turns on immediately but sometimes it loads apps a little slow, though nothing outrageous. I'm glad that I bought it, but I have like 5 different sign-ons from Facebook, Meta and Oculus now so I don't really know what is going on, but I am able to muddle through most of the time.
