I purchased this mike for my home recording studio and fell in love with it the first time I used it. I have to be honest though, I did not expect alot from this mic due to the price. I was wrong! I also have a more expensive one that I normally use but wanted to buy something cheaper to use out in gigs as well. Well, I sold the expensive mic and sent for another one of these. I use this for in-studio video in my recording studio. It records beautifully at lower light levels. The ability to record 2 formats at once is a time saver. It is compact, light and all the functions are easy to learn. The battery takes a long time to charge.
